Every year, the Stags Leap District Winegrowers open up their wineries for a three-day celebration of all things wine and food. Some of these wineries are only open one day a year, and the Vineyard to Vintner event is it.
On Friday night, four of the wineries hosted dinners. On Saturday, all the wineries opened their doors, wines, and libraries for exclusive tastings. On Sunday, there was a lunch hosted by Regusci.
Stags Leap had a rough time during the fires. All the vintners told their story of how they dealt with (or dealing with) the flames and smoke. On Saturday morning, there was a special walk through the vineyards at Regusci where the owners talked about those two weeks and how they fought the fires.
