I'll be honest -- I was a little worried about this year's festival. There was a lot of drama in 2018, and I wasn't sure how this year was going to turn out.
Let's just say I had no reason to worry. This year's Napa Valley Film Festival was perhaps the best one yet.
I've been photographing the festival since the first one in 2011. It's changed over time, but it's still my favorite festival to photograph. I'm not one to get all star-struck, but I do get a little thrill being able to meet movie stars. I really do feel very blessed to be able to actually get paid to have fun.
Over the six days, I worked about 45 hours (not including editing time) and delivered about 1000 images. The photos were uploaded before I went to bed each day, and some were delivered in real time.
